Apply for New Driving License in Karachi

The Permanent Driving License is issued to Learning License Holders. See the procedure and other details below.

Permanent License Procedure:
  • After 42 days of Learning License, can apply for Permanent License
  • Permanent License is issued for 3 years and 5 years
  • Paste one photo on Medical Form and one photo on License Form
  • You will attach a copy of your CNIC with each Form
  • You will give Theory, Medical, Driving and Parking Tests
  • New Driving License will reach at your address by TCS

  • Due to Covid-19, the License Branch is giving Token Online

Tips:
  • If possible, bring your own car for motor driving test
  • Keep with you a pen and enough change of money
  • Keep extra copies of CNIC
  • Reach Driving License Branch at about 9.00 am
  • Don’t press or rub eyes with hands during Eye-Test
  • Renew Driving License before expiry to save Penalty

    Mere bhai nai bhi licence bnwana hai laikin wo keh raha hai k 10000 rs lgtay hain licence bnwanay m. To plz aap bta saktay hain k aisa kon sa reasons hain jin ki base pr licence ki itny fees charge ho g. Jab k licence to hardly 3000 k ander bn raha hai

      W.Salam … Ho sakta hay aap kay bhai ko ghalat fehmi hui ho aur kisi nay inko ghalat calculation bata di ho ya kisi commercial gaari ki fees bata di ho. Fees iss tarah hay:-

      Motorcycle:
      Rs.510 (3 years license)
      Rs.660 (5 years license)

      Car:
      Rs.960 (3 years license)
      Rs.1260 (5 years license)

      Car+Motorcycle:
      Rs.1410 (3 years license)
      Rs.1860 (5 years license)

          Driving License walon ka Appointment wala link ab bhi kaam kar raha hay. Isliay behtar hoga keh aap direct branch jaanay ki bajae inkay iss link pay appointment lay kar branch jaen:-

      Yeh zaroori nahi hay keh aap permanent license hi lain. Agar learning license renew karwana ho tau 200 ya 300 rupees fee ada karni hogi aur learning license renew hojaega. Renewal kay 42 days kay baad aap permanent license banwanay kay liay apply kar sakti hain.

      Learning License jaari honay kay 42 din baad aap kisi bhi waqt Permanent License kay liay apply kar saktay hain. Aap ka test hoga aur test pass karnay per aap ko Permanent License issue ho jaega. Car/M.Cycle kay license ki fees taqreeban 2000/- hogi.

      W.Salam.
      Pehlay aap ka LTV learning license banega jo six (6) months tak valid hoga. LTV license kay liay kam-az-kam 21 saal ki age honi chahyay.

      Direct LTV permanent (pakka) license kay liay aap koshish zaroor karain. Ho sakta hay koi special driving test lay ker woh log aap ko direct LTV pakka license bana dain.

      Punjab main online renewal kay liay link hay : https://dlims.punjab.gov.pk/ lekin Sindh, KP aur Baluchistan kay liay nahi hay. Agar aap Pakistan main hain tau behtar hoga aap license branch jaen aur bohot aasaani say license renew karwa lain.

      Aksar logon kay paas test denay kay liay zaati car nahi hoti. Ziada behtar yeh hota hay keh jis car pay aap nay driving ki practice ki hoti hay wohi car test denay kay liay lay ker jaen. Log kisi Driving Institute ki car bhi lay ker jaatay hain aur Institute walay thori si fees aap say lay letay hain.

    1. Please visit License Branch with your original license and CNIC. They may take the test of bike and issue a fresh Car/Motorcycle license.

      In Karachi, due to Corona Virus, the Driving License Branches are giving Online Pre-Appointment / Token on their following link:-

      https://dls.sindhpolice.gov.pk/home/app

      On your Appointment / Token date, please reach the counter at License Branch in time. You will receive your fresh license through courier service within seven days.

      Pakistani International Driving License one year kay liay hota hay. Maqami driving license submit hojata hay aur phir international license jaari hota hay. Mukhtalif provinces main alag alag rules hain. Local license branch say aap mazeed tafseelat aur accurate maaloomat hasil kar saktay hain.
