  1. Hi can I enter Pakistan with an expired nicop
What will happen if I do so as I don’t have much time to renew it

  2. Hi
I got nicop long time back ,bec was not aware that pakistan and russia not have dual citizenship arrangment and applied.
What shall i do i dont want to surrender my pakistan citizenship and apply for poc can i keep my nicop or apply for cancellation please advise.
    Thx in Advance

    1. Dear Mr.Faisal,

If Russia does not allow dual citizenship and you wish to have the Russian Citizenship, then you will have to surrender Pakistani citizenship. You cannot keep Pakistani Passport. But, in fact, you are not leaving Pakistani nationality. The NADRA of Pakistan gives you either NICOP or the POC (Pakistan Origin Card). These cards are actually serving as a passport and you don’t need any visa for entering into Pakistan from abroad.

In future, you can leave Russian citizenship at anytime and you can reside/live in Pakistan permanently. Then, you will get again the Pakistani citizenship and passport.

However, you can have further discussions with your those friends who are also having Russian citizenship. You will get fruitful suggestions from these friends.

      .
      Best regards.

  3. My NICOP has a Pakistani address in both the Present and Permanent addresses. Is that ok? Does that still make it valid? I’m a US citizen too.

    1. Dear Mr.Gul Ahad,

In Pakistan, if your spouse or any of your blood-relative has a “present address” on their CNIC, you can also use this address both for “present” as well as “permanent” address on your NICOP. It is quite valid.

      1. Thank you for your very prompt reply. Just one more query My NICOP id no. Is the same as the one on my CNIC. There is no change in that. Is that how it is? They don’t assign you a new no. ?

        1. Dear Mr.Gul Ahad,

We can say that NICOP is nearly a duplicate of CNIC. Purpose of CNIC is to be used within Pakistan, whereas NICOP is the identity card to be used whenever you are out of country or you wish to travel Pakistan. You know that you don’t need Pakistan’s visa on the basis of NICOP. Therefore, the numbers of CNIC and NICOP are same.

  4. Hi, my wife has got a NIC issued from Canberra, Australia. Does she need to apply for NICOP too, to be able to travel to Pakistan or NIC would suffice?

    Thanks

    1. Dear Mr.Muhammad Syed,

As you are aware, valid Pakistani Passport or NICOP is enough to travel to Pakistan. Although, the CNIC or SNIC (Smart NIC) are not considered as NICOP, it seems better for you to consult your travel agents. If they suggest for NICOP, it will not be difficult for you to apply for NICOP. However, your travel agents may possibly adopt for you some other easy ways in light of their experience.

      Best regards.

  5. Sir mere wife ka cnic banana he jabke us ka birth certificate bhi nahe bana hwa or na b.form

    1. Dear Mr.Muhammad Rehman,

Aap apnay original CNIC aur Nikah-nama kay saath NADRA Centre jaen aur wife ko bhi saath lay jaen. Agar ho sakay tau wife kay education certificates bhi lay kar jaen. Ziada imkaan yehi hay keh NADRA walay aap say koi Halaf-nama waghera lay ker aap ki wife ka CNIC bana daingay.

    1. Dear Mr.Waqas Sharif,

      W.A.S.
In respect of Fee-Structure (or Fee-Detail), both Zone-A and Zone-B are just the lists of countries. As there are different laws or the rates of their currencies, these countries are divided into two lists or Zones, just for the convenience of people. Otherwise, there is no big difference between them.

      Best Regards.

Yes, it is possible to change your signature. Take your original CNIC to NADRA Centre for this purpose.

      1. Dear Mr.Nabeel,

Your NICOP’s record is maintained by NADRA and we are not in a position to tell the card’s “expiry date” and “issue date.” You will have no problem if you please contact NADRA, online or personally.

        Best regards.

    1. Dear Mr.Asad,

NICOP is actually the CNIC issued to Pakistanis living abroad.
